Triumph T140E cylinder barrel cleaned through the vapour blaster
Painted classic motorcycle cylinder barrel cleaned, including awkward cooling fins.
The starting point
The Triumph T140E motorcycle cylinder barrel arrived still covered in paint. The cooling fins made it a more awkward component to clean thoroughly.
What VMC did
VMC tested the part through the vapour blaster without paint stripping first. The process still worked, but the video notes it took longer and getting into the fins was more difficult.
Classic motorcycle engine component cleaning
The cylinder barrel was left clean, with no spots missed, and ready to go back on the motorcycle. This is a useful example for restoration customers with finned motorcycle barrels and engine parts.
