BMW E36 timing chain cover cleaned after welding work
BMW timing chain cover cleaned after recent welding work for a factory-fresh finish.
The starting point
The BMW E36 timing chain cover was already in reasonable condition compared with some parts VMC sees, but it had recent welding work and the client wanted it cleaned properly.
What VMC did
VMC vapour blasted the cover to tidy up the surface after the welding work and bring the finish back to a cleaner, more even appearance.
Automotive aluminium engine component cleaning
The result was described in the source video as smooth, shiny and looking like it had come straight out of the factory. This is a strong example for aluminium engine covers and repair-prep work.
