Post suitable parts to VMC by prior arrangement.
If you are not local to Lincolnshire, start with photos. VMC will confirm whether the part is suitable, quote the work, and agree any post-in or return-shipping handling before anything is sent.
Do not post parts before VMC agrees the job.
Send photos and details
Include part type, size, quantity, material if known, condition, and whether return shipping may be needed.
Wait for suitability and quote
Charlie will confirm whether vapour blasting is appropriate and whether post-in handling makes sense for the job.
Pack securely
Wrap parts so they cannot move in the box. Protect machined faces, threads and fragile edges. Drain oil/fuel residue before packing.
Include your details
Add name, phone, email and agreed job details inside the parcel so the parts can be matched to the quote.
Good postal jobs are clear, clean and agreed first.
- Whole-part photos plus close-ups of corrosion, paint, damage and machined areas.
- Approximate dimensions and quantity.
- Material if known, especially aluminium or mixed metals.
- Any areas that must be masked or protected.
- Your preferred return option and any deadline.
Post-in and courier return are useful for suitable jobs, but they are not automatic. VMC confirms the route before parts are sent.
